As part of efforts to support sustainable infrastructure and promote the adoption of renewable energy, Tajadod Solar Energy Company has implemented a project for the supply, installation, and commissioning of solar-powered street lighting systems in several key streets in the city of Sana'a.

Project Scope:

The project included the installation of solar lighting systems on the following main streets:

·         Airport Street : from the Airport Hall to Al-Khamseen Street

·         Al-Zubairi Street : from Bab Al-Yemen to Al-Asr Roundabout

·         Haddah Street : from the intersection with Al-Zubairi Street to Al-Khamseen Street

These locations were carefully selected due to their high traffic density and strategic importance, with the aim of enhancing public safety and improving nighttime mobility.

·         Number of lighting units : 2,120

·         Power capacity per unit: 80 watts
